12-String Improv 112-String Improv 1Feedback6:39
I just played my new 12-string in the Phrygian mode for this one, led by flamenco siguiriyas and Peter Walker's playing. Maybe I was also thinking about Steffen Basho-Junghans.

More granular synthesis here, but this time it's messing with pre-sampled guitar chords. Sounds a little ghostly.

A guitar and vocals songs with three backing vocal parts that make it sound pretty lush to my ears. Tremelo on the guitar which is an effect I'm a sucker for.
What was that Feeling? What was that Feeling?Feedback4:18
Aiming for a latin groove, I've missed the mark but it's laid back none-the-less. Also there is some of your actually bass guitar here.

More charango action on this one, plus some glockenspiel. I should point out that it's not about anyone I know personally, in case you're worried.

This is the conventional version of a song you can also find on the experiments page. Use the feedback link to tell us which you prefer.

Just Spid 4 and his guitar. Something about the nature of fame and the nature of worm-eating birds.
At The Station (with Organ)At The Station (with Organ)Feedback2:23
This one features a hammond organ that lives in my hard disk. It was a string arrangement but the string players didn't turn up.
At the DancehallAt the DancehallFeedback4:12
This song has a mirror ball in it. There's some Ursula Le Guin influence in the lyric, I think, plus a little Bonny Prince Billy.
In The SurfIn The SurfFeedback3:50
This is the one about going swimming. It has a guitar line made by striking the strings with the heel of the hand, and it goes down well when people are quite enough to hear it.
